Who Are You, Really?
ASSIGNMENT 1
OBJECTIVE:
This first assignment is designed to help establish a baseline for your skills in creating narrative-driven, out-of-the-box designs while working within specific constraints. You’ll combine text, imagery, and creative processes to produce a visually engaging and personal two-page document.
THE CHALLENGE:
Create a two-page, letter-sized document (oriented vertically) that introduces who you are. The design must include a photo of yourself, your name, major, and year of study. You’ll also answer a set of provided questions in a visually engaging and narrative-driven way. Your goal is to show personality and creativity.
REQUIRED CONTENT:
1. A photo /image of yourself
2. Your name
3. Your major
3. Year of graduation
4. Where were you raised? Provide short description of the area.
5. What sparks joy in your life?
In addition to above Incorporate the following content:
Imagine it’s a few years after graduation, and you’re thriving in your dream career, what are you doing, and what about it excites or inspires you the most?
You’re organizing a parade, and the theme is “ridiculously specific.” What’s the theme, and who are your parade participants?
You’ve been tasked with redesigning the layout of a grocery store, but you want to make it as confusing as possible. What’s your strategy?
