Make the old new again.
ASSIGNMENT 3
OBJECTIVE:
Let’s make the symphony cool again. Your job is to create a killer branding poster for a prominent Symphony Orchestra, designed to pull in young professionals who might not think classical music is their thing (yet). This isn’t just about the music, it’s about the whole experience. Think pre-concert entertainment, a conductor breaking it down during the performance, and post-show drinks, food, and interactive fun. Oh, and you’ll need to come up with a fresh, catchy title for the series, too.
THE CHALLENGE:
Design a poster that takes classical music out of the “stuffy” zone and into the spotlight for a younger crowd. You’ll promote a specific performance, highlight the featured musical piece, and showcase the whole vibe; pre-show, mid-show, and post-show. Your design needs to balance the elegance of the symphony with a bold, modern edge that makes people want to put on their best outfit and show up. Make it fresh, make it engaging, and make it irresistible.
